Job Objective: A client-facing role that requires top-notch programming and people skills. Working directly with industry-leading clients on a daily basis and developing innovative Javascript solutions for Google Website Optimizer, Google Analytics and Omniture Test & Target as well as building rock-solid html/css landing pages.
The position is full-time and onsite.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Produce, modify or maintain web solutions using a variety of technologies
Provide general technical solutions as required
Work both alone and as part of a team with minimal supervision
Work with client programmers in implementing server-side code to produce technical, interactive and database-driven sites
Provide accurate timing estimates for work based on verbal and written technical briefs Contribute to documentation (instructional, pitch and technical specification) where required Provide technical advice to other team members
Liaise with clients, suppliers and colleagues in a professional and helpful manner
Improve existing knowledge and acquire new skills through self-education, research and development, some of which may be outside of normal working hours
Maintain a high awareness of industry issues and trends, particularly in regard to accessibility, usability, and emerging technologies, and keep team members informed as appropriate, with a view to incorporating these in future projects and staying ahead of the market
Disseminate technical knowledge to the rest of the team wherever possible actively contribute to discussions and brainstorming sessions as requested
Ensure all projects are delivered on time and to the highest possible standard
Attend client meetings if required
Prioritise and manage your workload effectively
Become involved in new business pitches as requested by the CEO or President
Contribute to an environment that is conducive to producing breakthrough ideas

Work closely with cross functional IT teams (including Architecture, Infrastructure, Development, Vendors and other stakeholders);
Produce technical scope and risk assessment for each project.
Produce deliverables such as standards compliance, cross browser, and interactive HTML pages for server-side integration,
Produce technical integration instructions for A/B/n and Multivariate website tests
Produce creative solutions when troubleshooting with clients in variety of web environments.
Communicate effectively (written and verbal) with all levels at a standard that aligns with internal corporate communication / documentation protocol; and,
Job Specifications (necessary skills and experience required)
2-4 years experience managing technology projects for commercial brands
expert javascript, deep understanding of the DOM, knowledge of JS libraries helpful (jquery, YUI, mootools)
expert html/XHTML/css skills
Proven ability to develop web projects using best practices
Experience working with various CMS systems, JS libraries, and knowledge of several server side technologies and or frameworks (ASP.NET, PHP, Java, RoR, Django, etc..)
Nice to have: WordPress, Flash/Actionscript
proven ability to deliver projects on time while maintaining effective client relationships
experience and proficiency in testing and debugging web pages for cross-browser and standards compliance
anticipates and manages risk
proven leadership/people skills
proven time management skills
thrives in an changing, dynamic environment
proficiency with Fireworks, Photoshop
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science preferred, but ability trumps a degree
familiarity with Google Analytics, Omniture or other web analytics packages
understanding of SEO coding best-practices
