The Chemist Pharmacy, a reputable pharmacy with several branches across British Columbia, is looking for an experienced Magento E-Commerce developer. You will be working on our pharmacy E-Commerce sites on FULL-TIME basis from our Burnaby office. This challenging position is available immediately.

REQUIREMENTS
You must have excellent knowledge in all of these programming platforms:

- Magento E-Commerce Software
- PHP 5 / OOP / MYSQL
- SEO Semantic XHTML/CSS Coding
- Javascript, Prototype JS Framework
- WordPress Customization
- Ability to write well-abstracted, reusable code
- Ability to write MVC based class systems

NICE TO HAVE
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science
- Web Deployment Experience
- Linux Server Management (ex. Site Security, Site Uptime, DNS Management)
- Basic On-Page SEO Knowledge
- Familiar with Content Delivery Networks (ex. Amazon CloudFront, Cloudflare)
- Some Project & Client Management Experience

CHARACTERISTICS
- Site speed/load optimization fan and familiar with related techniques
- Detail-oriented, loves pixel perfection and cross-browser testing
- Knows how to apply quality assurance before presenting work (ex. debugging)
- Excellent communication skills, should be able to present technical aspects of your job to upper management in non-techy language
- Can work on your own with minimum management
- Responsible, proactive about project tasks and getting things done
