To be eligible for this employment you MUST:

* Be currently unemployed or underemployed (working less than 20 hours/week).

* Be a resident of the Greater Vancouver area.

You will be responsible for maintaining the existing e-commerce code for our online stores including, developing new features, updating existing code, managing deployment, monitoring the operation of all applications, supporting staff to resolve problems that arise. About 10-15% of the work will be operational trouble shooting.

BEST OF ALL: You won’t have to report to a project manager – AND you will get to boss around our outsourced development team…

You will work at all steps in the e-commerce life cycle, from the initial shopping cart and payment, communication to and from the warehouse, transactional emails and newsletters, customer service/admin. You will be responsible for application code and server configuration (proxy configurations, SSL certificates, etc)
