Us: a team of three running a website focusing on mental health & psychotherapy.

We need basic, ongoing editing of our Quicktime webmovies. We use Screenflow to capture the videos, then export to a .mov file,
then upload them to Amazon s3 for hosting.
Most projects are simple videos of a person talking to the camera, and most are under 20 mins (webinars can be up to 1 ½ hrs).

You: your attitude is just as important as your skills because you’ll be THE go-to person for all things video for the foreseeable future.
You’re excited by the prospect of being on a small team that’s going to make a big difference.
You know how to use video to communicate on the web, whether it’s an educational or a marketing message.
You sweat the details and treat a project as if it were your own.
You appreciate clients who are open, communicative and reasonable about rates and deadlines.

Essential tasks:

- edit out the ‘ums, ‘ahs, and awkward pauses
- add transitions & effects (eg. callouts, captions, titles, links, graphics, ‘slides’) to smooth and enhance the video’s ‘flow’
- use Keynote or equivalent to create slides, then cut them into the videos
- embed videos in WordPress pages/posts (eg using JW Player)
- edit audio, including volume & voice quality
- search, select and synchronize music tracks
- optimize videos for desktop, ipad & iphone
- submit finished videos to directories (eg using Traffic Geyser)
- keep videos(approx. 50 – 75) organized on Amazon s3

Please respond by email.
